Lunch with my daughter
Well Rebecca came over and fixed me a wonderful lunch. Here's a picture of my Tuna Club Sandwhich:
We also had some potato chips. It was very nice of her to stop by, and it seemed like she was seeking some nurture from her dear old mother. She has been quite upset as of late. The loss of her father, my husband, has been difficult for all of us in the family and Rebecca is struggling to cope. Stress is mounting at work and Danny has been nearly entirely reclusive. If hes not out with his friends, he keeps himself locked up in his room blaring rap music she tells me. She mentioned that there's also a terrbile smell coming from his side of the house but he refuses to let her in to his bedroom. After she and her husband divorced Rebecca has been keeping busy taking care of Danny and maintaining a house. Oh that child can sure be a burden.
I did my best to console her, we all miss Howard, yet he lived a long life. I told her he wouldn't want us fretting like we are, he would want us all to get together as a family and take care of one another.
I tried but I felt like I just couldn't get through to her today. Oh well. Any advice?

Still waiting...
I've been waiting by the phone but I still havent heard any replies to my flyers. I suppose it's only one day but I would imagine I would hear something by now right? Well, about all I can do is the crossword and cross my fingers. Although I'm feeling better the doctor AND my loving (but often overbearing) family wont allow me to drive around town searching yet. They say I'll become so fatigued it will be dangerous..but I feel up to it! Tootsie is the primary source of joy and excitement in my life! Without him I'll become too fatigued because I'll have no one to cheer me up and share my days with.
Rebecca is planning to stop by on her lunch break so I better be signing off soon.

back on my feet
So I've been starting to feel better and I've been researching to learn how to find Tootsie. I found this website with a lot of helpful advice: http://www.fidofinder.com/find-your-lost-dog.php
I think I'm going to go plaster the neighborhood with posters for my missing doggie!
Wish me luck~

Pneumonia and induced comas
Hi folks,
So I know it's been a while since I last updated, but that's because I came down with a terrible case of pneumonia and have been hospitalized for the last few weeks. At this age, an illness like that really gets the best of you! Luckily now I am feeling better and steadily regaining strength and energy. I am back home and on my feet again, and ready to solve the mystery of my missing Tootsie with all my might.
The doctors said that all the stress of losing my poor pomeranian seemed to have weakened my immune system and made my susceptible to pneumonia. For a while I was in an induced state of sedation with a respirator doing all of my breathing. It's amazing how technology has evolved in the medical field over my lifetime. Once I was awake, my family was very supportive. Rebecca came to visit me everyday to check in and see how I was doing. Danny even stopped by once or twice. That was very thoughtful of the him, however I found it to be quite rude that he laughed told him what happened to Tootsie.
Well, now that I'm home again I guess ill check in with my friends in the blogosphere and leave some comments. I don't have the energy to do much else, so I'll look around the internet to see if I can't find any clues as to Tootsie's whereabouts.

Criminals!!!
As many of you know, I have a Pomeranian named Tootsie whom I love very much. You can see a picture of my beloved in my post from February 10th.
Well... imagine my surprise when I came home from Price Chopper to find THIS on my door!!!
SOMEONE HAS STOLEN MY BELOVED!!!! Oh dear I'm lost and I don't know what to do without my dear Tootsie!!! After losing my husband I don't think I can bear to handle any more loss! Who will help me get through my days? What reason will I have to wake up in the morning now that my Tootsie is gone?! Poor poor Tootsie I really hope he's alright. And those thieves. Those DAMNED thieves why would they do such a thing?! What reason would they have to rob a poor old lady of her precious dog?!!
I'm going to go pray that he get home safely.
IF ANYONE HAS INFORMATION OR HAS SEEN TOOTSIE PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT!

No Bells and Whistles :(
Well, I just learned that my beloved blink rule doesn't work in Google Chrome or Safari :( However, it does work in Firefox, which is the browser I use. Danny deleted Internet explorer off my computer and I cant figure out how to get it back on :(
Oh well. If you dont view my blog in Firefox you can still enjoy this video of a 'talking' Pomeranian! Soo precious!
That's all for today,
